D2 Technical and aesthetic properties
Unit 20 D2 Technical and aesthetic properties
In my web & print adverts as well as audio-visual promo, I have used a range of technical and aesthetic properties that combine my ideas and designs to the requirements by the client brief. Throughout each advert, my goal was simple, and it was the make the audience feel a sense of curiosity, through-the-use-of graphics such as bubbles and bright colours.
I wanted to add an aspect of story to my advert by including people in it and building up to inevitable reveal of my drink and design, whilst still sticking to a modern product.
A shot of my can sliding creates a feeling of depth in the advert as it isn’t still and may feel like it is almost coming towards the audience for them to grab it. It makes the can feel important and creates greater interest in the drink.

My original design was extremely basic and wouldn’t have stood a chance in today’s markets.
In my finished design i added a swoosh of colour to create an attractive advert that worked as a part of a cross-media campaign. This added colour creates a fruity feel to the audience and design which makes them feel thirsty. The goal of each of my adverts is to make the audience feel thirsty so they will go and buy one of my drinks to quench their thirst. This is to maximise my potential profits and grow the audience.
